You can assign a different swatch position, or a different color entirely to each of your objects using the color pickers in the Tools menu. The palette system assigns a color swatch to each of your elements based on type, position, and style, however once selected you may wish to make further changes to To try a different variation, click the swatch flag either in the Label Colors/Palettes panel, or next to each palette option in the browse menu. LabelMaker Pro features a powerful palette system for dynamically recoloring your label design. Images and graphics that extend to the edges of your design should fill this area completely to ensure the best print result. The area outside of this die line is called the bleed, and it acts as a safety area for when the label is trimmed since the label can sometimes shift slightly during the cutting. Your design includes an additional 1/16" inch on each edge of the label which is represented by a dashed cut line, or die line. (Please note that border insetting is only supported for rectangle and ellipse labels) Bleed & Die Line When changing to a new label shape, label borders are automatically converted to follow the new shape. The default label shape is Rectangle, however there are a variety of other shapes available within the Label Size & Shape panel on the right toolbar. Please be sure to choose a label size that fits your intended bottles. Select a size from our list of Size Presets, or enter your own custom dimensions by selecting the Custom Size option. The size of your label can be changed within the Label Size & Shape panel in the right toolbar. Object snapping can be turned off by unchecking the Object Snapping option at the top of the label workspace. Purple guide lines will also appear when an object snaps to the vertical and horizontal centers of the label. When object snapping is enabled, objects will snap to the edges and centers of each other as show by green guide lines. Once selected, an object can be duplicated by clicking theĭuplicate button at the bottom of the Layers panel. Once selected, an object can be deleted by clicking theĭelete button to the right of that object. Once selected, an object can be rotated using the floating rotate control that appears above each object. (Please note that text must be resized using the font size option in the Text Options panel) Rotating Objects Once selected, an object can be resized using the resize controls in the corners of each object, or by using the scale slider in the tools panel to perform uniform scaling. (Please note that the position of label borders is locked and cannot be moved this way) Resizing Objects For smaller movements, use the shift key and arrow keys at the same time. Once selected, an object can be moved either by dragging it, or using the arrow keys on your keyboard. To select multiple objects at a time, hold down shift while selecting them, or drag a selection box around the objects you wish to select.
